In a week at this time, we will be watching the drivers of racing specials on the Jahodná Hill in Košice for the best possible result. On the occasion of the celebration of the tenth year of the Moris Cup Jahodná competition, the organizers prepared other accompanying events in addition to the competition itself.
The Moris Cup Jahodna will take place on the 18th-20th May 2018 and is included in the FIA International Hill Climb Cup (FIA IHCC), FIA Historic Car Championship (HHCC), Slovak Championship in the Hill Climb and Slovak Historic Car Hill Climb Championship, Slovak Hill Cup and Slovak Trophy in races of regularity of historic cars to the hill. Thanks to this international ranking, almost eighty drivers from eight European countries will be on the track. Spectators will be able to see a variety of vehicles ranging from gorgeous historical specials through traditional modern cars with various modifications to the fastest formula cars.
Organizers from the Košice Auto Club and Moris Slovakia s.r.o. have prepared a traditional program for drivers and spectators with two competition days. Saturday at 8:30 two training sessions are scheduled and from 13:30 two competitive heats. Sunday morning at 8:30 one official training and after 11:30. two competitive heats. In the evening during both racing days - Saturday from 18:00 and Sunday from 17:00 a ceremonial prize giving ceremony will take place.
On Saturday, during the competition itself, there will also be an accompanying program under the title "Moris Cup for Children" in the recreation center under the start. This action will have a substantially reduced format of official races. There will be competition for prizes in the ride for children in three age categories. Of course, there is an inflatable castle and a jumping trampoline. Parents will be able to browse Škoda vehicles and order for testing trips.
Moris Slovakia s.r.o. take interesting cars every year on Jahodna, it will not be different this year. The week before the start we can confirm the Audi V8 DTM with 3562 cc and 442 horsepower, as well as the Audi with the exact name MTM RS3 LMS TCR DSG Street 2.5 TFSI quattro with a performance of over 500 hp.
However, not only for cars and racers, we also mention one little girl Her nickname is Tamira and is a successful Kosice DJ. You will be able to enjoy her great music sets during both days of competition.
