Even though the current weather does not indicate so far, the Slovak Hill Climb Championship will open the new year 2018 in a few weeks. The third event, but also only the first in Slovakia, will be the favorite Moris Cup Jahodná.
Auto Klub Košice and Moris Slovakia s.r.o. will celebrate on the 18th - 20th May 2018 round jubilee - 10 years of cooperation in the preparation and running of Moris Cup Jahodná. By common work, they have created race that have gained great interest of drivers, fans and the media. Track long 4,750 meters between Alpinka and Jahodná resort attracted over the previous nine years many of the drivers really from all over Europe who come here to collect points in several championships of FIA (Federation International Automobile), but also in national championships. This year's race will be included in the FIA International Hill Climb Cup (IHCC), FIA Historic Hill Climb Championship (HHCC), Slovak Hill Climb Championship and Slovak Historic HC Championship, Slovak HC Cup and Slovak Historic HC Regularity Trophy.
The service park in the area of the Jahodná Resort will start filling by the competition vehicles as early as the 17th of May, with the program for the drivers starting at 11 am on Friday at the administrative checks and scruitineering. For Saturday two practice heats are preparedare and from 1:30 pm two race heats. Sunday morning practice will start at 8:30 and after 11:30 two race heats. For drivers of the FIA HHCC and FIA IHCC races, Sunday is the competition day.
Special provisions and other important documents are published on the official website of pav.rallye.sk. The registration will be launched on April 9 at sams-asn.sk/prihlaska and entry closing date is on May 9, 2018.
