Only two months separate us from the start of the eighth hill climb race Jahodná near city Košice. Hill Climb MORIS CUP Jahodná with relatively short time of its existence managed to develop to the elite motorsport events in Slovakia and in Europe, so we can look forward to starting grid full of known names and a fast cars.
MORIS CUP Jahodná will take place from May 19 to 22 in this season and will host drivers from across Europe who will collect points for the FIA Historic Hill Climb Championship (HHCC), FIA International Hill Climb Cup (IHCC), Slovak HC Championship (MSR), and Slovak Historic HC Championship, Polish HC Championship (GSMP), Slovak Hill Climb Cup (SKP) and Slova Historic Regularity Trophy (ST HP).
The organizer of this competition is the Auto Klub Košice with his co-organizer Moris Slovakia, Ltd. The competition will start on Friday by administrative check and scrutineering, and in the evening at 20:00 will be held drivers briefing . Competitive days will be Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, two practice heats and two race heats will be held, on Sunday it will be one practice heat and again two race heats. Race Headquarters and Service Park are traditionally concentrated in the premises of the Sport-recreational center Jahodna, the "top" of the competition track. Start is located 750 meters after turning on Alpinka and its total length is 4750 meters. Current track record holds Jaroslav Krajči and its value is 1: 48,440.
The FIA approved the supplementary regulations of the competition, the organizers have published on its website pav.rallye.sk and entries also started on prihlaska-sams.sk website. The deadline is set at 12th May 2016.
