Moris Cup Jahodná 2016 Headquarter will consist of people from various parts of Europe

 

 

 

 

 

Third stop for Slovak Hill climb Championship 2016 will be from 19th to 22th May hill Jahodná near Košice. The organizer of the competition is the Auto Klub Košice and company Moris Slovakia, Ltd.

To start of 8th MORIS Jahodná Cup remaining the last three weeks. Preparations for the race are finising, organizers chaired by the organizing committee Peter Szczeczina and his deputy Marek Elias are slowly preparing for incoming of all the other officials nominated by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and also by the various national associations.

To the post of Chief Steward for the FIA Historic Hill Climb Championship (HHCC),  FIA nominated Mr. Roderick Parkin from England. To the same function for the FIA International Hill Climb Cup (IHCC) Mr. Jan Mienkinsky from Austria. On the compliance of Slovak and Polish championship will oversee by trio of stewards - Mr. Kočergin Boris (SVK), Mr. Fiejdasz Marcin (POL) and Mr. Vladimir Bánoci (SVK).

"Superintendence" over the eligibility of historical cars will have FIA eligibility delegate Mr. Domenico Cifaldi from Italy, the chief scrutineer will be Mr. Jan Kucera and technical delegate of the Polish Association( PZM) Mr. Marek Szechura. Moreover, on the initiative of the President of the FIA, Jean Todt, about direction of hill climb technology for the future, the cars will be given another two FIA Scrutineers - Mr. Jonathan Crook of Great Britain and Mr. Kamil Nechvilka from the Czech Republic. To participate as observer by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile will Mr. Miroslav Nezval from the Czech Republic. Polish Association nominated Mr. Boguslaw Piatek. SAMŠ safety delegate will be Mr. Jaroslav Vadoc.
Timekeeping will provide SAMŠ timekeepers led by Miroslav Dzuriš.

Responsible role clerk of the course will be the same as in previous years, carrying on his shoulders Mr. Ľubomír Šimko, who is the chairman of the SAMŠ Safety Committee. On the track itself, the competition will secure almost two hundred marshals (their main role is to oversee the safety of the competitors) and organizers (in charge of public security and organization of the service and parc fermé). We must not forget the crews of ambulances and rescue vehicles as well as firefighters and crews salvage and towing vehicles and those providing connection and also sound. At the  Headquarters on the premises of the Recreation resort Jahodná will at all times operate the Race secretariat  and Press Centre.

The competition will take place on the famous line from Alpinka resort towards Spišská Nová Ves long 4750 meters. Thanks to the inclusion of races in two FIA championships (IHCC, HHCC) and also Slovak and Polish championship would be present at the track about 100 drivers. Entry list is currently beginning fulfilled by household names. Mentioned can be Czech champion Vaclav Janik on Norma M20FC, who won the Jahodna in 2014, European champion from France, Jean-Marie Almerasa with his historic Porsche 935, Poland minion Jacek Handl at the BMW E36 and Slovak "fans darling" Igor Drotár on the new Skoda Fabia R5.
