The long-standing experience with rally organization brought the Košice Auto Club in 2009 to organize an competition on the Jahodná Hill. The organization needed a strong partner who moves in motor sport and can cover the race. That became the company Moris Slovakia s.r.o., which took over as co-organizer.
Even though the current weather does not indicate so far, the Slovak Hill Climb Championship will open the new year 2018 in a few weeks. The third event, but also only the first in Slovakia, will be the favorite Moris Cup Jahodná.

Preteky automobilov do vrchu Moris Cup Jahodná 2017 majú za sebou druhý súťažný deň. Víťazstvo z minulého roka obhájil Václav Janík na Norme M20FC. Padol aj rekord trate v „plechových“ vozidlách!
Minuloročný víťaz Moris Cup Jahodná, Václav Janík, má za sebou úspešne svoju prvú súťažnú jazdu, ktorú vyhral s náskokom 4,4 sekundy pred druhým Jozefom Bérešom. Výborný čas zajazdil Uberto Bonucci na svojej historickej placke Osella PA9/90 a obsadil tretiu priečku.
The first training rides on the Moris Cup Jahodná 2017 went without any major problems. Tretia súťaž Majstrovstiev Slovenska v pretekoch automobilov do vrchu odštartuje už zajtra ráno. Diváci sa môžu tešiť na 75 súťažných vozidiel od historických špeciálov až po formulové vozidlá.
Organizátori z Auto Klubu Košice upozorňujú na posun časového harmonogramu Moris Cup Jahodná 2017, ktorý sa týka oboch súťažných dní. Dôvodom zmeny je vyšší záujem štartujúcich oproti predpokladanému počtu.
